("The Other 75% of Your Time at Camp")

Description:  A good sized site, with lots of rocky shore for fishing, good swimming, and set in a beautiful mixed forest.  Large area to spread out the tents and large campfire/gathering place.

Exposure:  East.   Early morning sun, but into full shade by mid afternoon.  Nice breezes out on the point.

Travel Time (by canoe)
>> to Hub  = 20 - 30 min.
>> to Reception / Parking =  40 - 50  min.

Comments:   The quiet solitude at this end of Buck Island is nice.  Being on an island means no worries about bears (but there are lots of racoons), and Scouts can't get seriously lost in the woods.
