The Troop's Own Programs
("The Other 75% of Your Time at Camp")

Description:  One of HSR's "remote" campsites deep in the forest.  On a separate smaller lake to the north and west of Lake Kennabi.  Has a large 'pavilion' style shelter with concrete floor and wood roof.   Plus, there is lots of space for tents.
A great site for a week's wilderness adventure, or a destination for a day hike on HSR's Trail System.

Exposure:  Site is on south end of lake, facing north.  Lots of shade but some rocky places get mid-day sun.  Not much breeze.

Travel Time -- can't paddle a canoe from here to anywhere -- it's a long portage!!

>> to Reception / Parking = 60 min hike, 30 min. drive 

Comments: Site is "road accessible" -- but better have a 4x4.   Bring your own water supply, and be prepared to 'be on your own'.
